Stellar Knights draw inspiration from a wide range of musical styles, skillfully blending alternative rock, metal, and progressive elements to craft a sound that's truly their own. The duo behind Stellar Knights, Stella and Duncan, come from different parts of the world but found their creative synergy in London's vibrant music scene. Stella, originally from Italy, brings her rich experience from cover bands and various musical collaborations. Duncan, from South Africa, previously played guitar in the heavy southern rock band StoneWire in Kent, UK, and has roots in Johannesburg's hard rock scene. Their diverse backgrounds and influences come together seamlessly in the unique sound of Stellar Knights. In August 2023, they released their debut single, "Pisces." This powerful track, with its edgy guitars and soulful vocals, showcases their gothic rock influences and captivates listeners instantly. The accompanying lyric video delves into the profound lyrics, inspired by the tragic losses of music legends like Kurt Cobain, Chris Cornell, and Chester Bennington. Their second single, "Away from Here," tells a personal story of seeking new experiences and cultural exploration. Unlike "Pisces," which dealt with themes of depression, "AFH" radiates positivity, celebrating those who embrace change and boldly declare, "Yes, I am ready to fight for my happiness." On July 26th, Stellar Knights released their third single, "Stop the Rain." Inspired by romances like Dracula and Interview with the Vampire, this marks the band's first love song—a powerful ballad about sins, immortality, and love. The band is currently working on their debut EP, set for release in winter, with new music coming soon on all streaming platforms.
